Authenticity of the documentation, in a form to reduce fraud, include:

  • BTA Logo
  • Document number
  • Unique watermark background
  • Include information about what security measures your certification includes on BTA’s website

 


 

TYPE OF CERTIFICATIONS ISSUED BY BTA

BTA issues a number of certifications depending on the candidates’ progress through programs of study.

CERTIFICATES

  • Candidates who successfully complete a full program of study (as defined in the relevant
  • Candidate Handbook) will be awarded a certificate.

RECORD OF RESULT

A Record of Result is issued to all candidates. A list of the unit(s) studied including full name and code.
Key of Result

  • C – Competent
  • CR – Competent (Recognition of Prior Learning )
  • CT – Credit Transfer
  • NYC – Not Yet Competent

STATEMENTS OF ATTAINMENT

Candidates who successfully complete a module from a program of study (containing a selection
of units of competency) will be issued a statement of attainment for the units involved in the
module.

BTA recognises that Candidates may not always complete a AQF qualification, instead choosing to
complete only one/some units of competency from a program. The issuing of a statement of attainment
acknowledges that completion of the accredited unit(s) contributes to the candidates’ lifelong learning
goals.

How to get a builder’s or contractor licence or registration

To work as a builder or trades person in Australia you must have a licence or be registered (depending on your state or territory). A licence or registration may require a combination of technical qualification, experience, skills and knowledge prior to application.
