This publication reports the construction, operation and research conducted involving a facility that converts locally available food or other wastes into fresh organic fish, vegetables, and herbs on-site for direct and value added public distribution.

This research report is targeted at individuals, institutions, companies and businesses that fall into one or more of the following categories: Urban planners, isolated rural communities, indigenous settlements, mine sites, governmental structures, managers of recycled organic wastes, generators of food and other organic ‘wastes’ in general, aquaculturalists and consumers of fish, horticulturalists and hydroponic producers.
